This Essex project is a ground-up new build — a modern farmhouse set into a wooded lot, designed and drawn from the foundation up. Board-and-batten and clapboard siding meet a standing-seam porch roof, stone-base columns, and black glass-panel garage doors, with a covered balcony looking out over the landscape. Inside, light oak floors run through open living spaces, a slat-wood fireplace wall anchors the great room, and black-framed windows frame the trees on every side. A complete home, taken from first drawing to finished build.
